Meet Our Dedicated Team
The Heart of the ACCB
The success of the Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB) relies entirely on the unwavering dedication of its staff—a diverse and highly skilled team working tirelessly on the frontline of conservation in Cambodia.
Our team is composed of passionate local professionals, ranging from expert wildlife veterinarians and experienced animal husbandry specialists to dedicated educators and efficient administrative staff. Day in and day out, this committed group is responsible for the complex operation of the center, which includes providing critical emergency care for confiscated and injured animals, managing globally significant ex-situ breeding programs (such as those for the critically endangered Giant Ibis and Southern River Terrapin), and running essential environmental education programs in local communities.
Though guided by the strategic oversight of the Allwetterzoo Münster, the everyday work is driven by the ACCB team's deep local knowledge of Cambodian wildlife and ecosystems. Their combined expertise ensures that the animals receive the highest standard of care and that our conservation initiatives are effectively implemented, securing a future for Cambodia’s unique and threatened biodiversity. We are proud to introduce you to the dedicated individuals who truly make our mission possible.
